Purge old WSUS database files / Update files ( WSUS 3.0 )

How to purge unneeded files from your server which runs WSUS 3.0
You have to download first a tool called WsusDebugTool.exe
With this tool you can purge unneeded files from WSUS.
Download here
Place this file in an easy to find directory.
The best thing is to DECLINED all updates you don’t need.
When you have done this run the following command from the CLI ( folder where you places WsusDebugTool.exe )
WsusDebugTool.exe /Tool:PurgeUnneededFiles
You will see as result starting..:

D:\<foldername>\WSUS>WsusDebugTool.exe /Tool:PurgeUnneededFiles
Running… PurgeUnneededFiles
Starting a state machine reset…

As result is that your wsus folder is smaller and you have more space back on your server.
Update: This tool doesn’t work on a server windows 2008 server R2 x64. The tool is not x64 compatible.
