How to change power settings via ILO for optimal performance for a system with VMware ESXi of any other Operating system.
Logon to ILO and go to Power Management > Settings
When you look at the Power Regulator for ProLiant you will see that the HP Dynamic Power Savings Mode is set as default.
Change this setting to HP Static High Performance Mode.

I don’t believe it is necessary to re-boot when changing from Dynamic to Static.
“You need to reboot the system when changing into or out of OS Control mode.
