Unable to stop McAfee Services – Access denied
If you are unable to stop/restart the McAfee services on a server, you can temporarily disable this feature by following the instrutions below:
1) Right click on your McAfee icon
2) Open Virus console
3) Right click access protection
4) Click properties
5) Untick Prevent McAfee services from being stopped
If the policy is setup within your EPO server, step 5 above may enable itself when you log off and back on.
