When you using a Netgear UTM and you would like to set a traffic shaping for a certain range of computers. To do this you need to do the following steps.
Step 1:
Login to the web portal of the UTM
Step 2
Go to Network config
Select QoS
Enable Qos: You will receive a warning and click on Apply.
Put the maximum bandwidth you want to have for this range (this range is in my test the guest network)
Click on Apply
When you set the policy you will see in the list of QoS that the profile is enabled.
When you test, you will see that the speed is captured on the set rate you gave in your QoS profile.
