People asked me to write a list of the login methods for switches in the 19xx Serie of HP. Below you can find the login for 2 switches which i recently used and people suggested on the earlier blog post.
HP 1910 Login
- username: admin
- password: <none>
- _cmdline-mode on
- password: 512900
HP 1920 Login
- username: admin
- password: <none>
- _cmdline-mode on
- password: Jinhua1920unauthorized
HP 1950 Login
- username: admin
- password: <none>
- _cmdline-mode on (I suppose this is correct, comment if not)
- Older password: foes-bent-pile-atom-ship
Newer password: Agnipath1950unauthorized

Some Corrections / Updates
HP 1950 Login:
Step 3
_cmdline-mode on should be xtd-cli-mode
step 4
I’m running the most current firmware release ( 1950_7.10.R3116P05) and still have to use Older password: foes-bent-pile-atom-ship
So I don’t know it witch case the newer password is used.
I’ve also not an idea when to use the old or new password. I haven’t installed this version lately.
